Studio by Design is a project founded in Montréal to inspire artists in the process of making/organizing/adapting a space that supports their artistic creations, overcoming physical and mental boundaries. Our approach was to interview multiple artists situated in the city in order to understand the relationship between the artist and the environment the artwork is made, as well as how they are organizing their space. The project was created by Wanda Stamford and William Normand-Robichaud, made possible through the sponsoring of Concordia University's Fine Arts Reading Room.
